Space, the final frontier
These are the voyages
I've been preparing for so many years.
Now it's time, all systems are go!
The Phoenix is blasting off into space
If you could see the loook on my face then you should know.
I may be boldly going where no one has gone before.
And I"ll be going places no one has ever explored.
Is this because I was meant for something more
Or is my judgement poor.
Well I look to my left and my right
Who are these clowns?
They seem so square and uptight.
But they say that I will be great
And if I act now then the Vulcans will see
That Humans have reached warp capability!
I may be boldly going where no one has gone before.
And I"ll be going places no one has ever explored.
Is this because I was meant for something more
Or will it be a three hour tour (a three hour tour).
Don't try to be a great man, just be a man
And let history make its own judgements
Even though it isn't my best subject I'll do what I can.
Well it worked.
Now what do I do.
I had no plan for after this moment came true.
Well I guess I'll live one day at a time.
And I"ll go meet aliens at the bar and they will take me away
to that wagon train to the stars!

Is this because I was meant for something more
Why does it seem that this will be a chore?
Will I go down in history and lore?
